Cape Town Northern Suburbs

Cape Town Northern Suburbs is situated to the north of Cape Town and is ideally located for those who intend to commute to work in the city. There are a variety of residential suburbs with easy access to all the necessary amenities, as well as excellent road networks. A wide range of accommodation is available, whether you are looking for the carefree lifestyle of a flat or townhouse, a family home in a quiet area or a luxury house or apartment in a prestigious suburb.

There are older, well-established tree lined suburbs, as well as newer suburbs with the added appeal of country surrounds. The Northern Suburbs is known for good quality schools and colleges, which are situated close to the various residential areas. There are churches representing all the major denominations in all the areas. When it comes to sporting and social events, there are numerous sports clubs, theatres, a variety of restaurants and large shopping centres, as well as smaller suburban shopping centres.

The Northern Suburbs has state of the art medical facilities. There is also plenty of opportunity for leisure activities, with a large number of dams in the surrounding areas. It is not unusual to see ducks, Egyptian geese and guinea fowls wandering around the open areas in the residential suburbs. The Tygerberg Nature Reserve is a great outing with a 7,5 kilometre hike that has superb views over the entire peninsula. Only 20 minutes away are stunning beaches, Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront. The historic rural towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek are only half an hour away and there are a multitude of wine estates in the immediate surrounds.

This fast growing business and retail area has easy access to the N1 and Cape Town International Airport.

All this translates into an excellent investment opportunity, especially when you consider that properties in the Northern Suburbs are generally larger than those nearer the city and offer great value for money, when it comes buying your ideal home.
